Executive Summary
Warren has been with the firm since 1999, and in June 2003 became an Associate Partner. He gained valuable experience in various industries and was intensively involved in listed and private companies including Namibian Sea Products Limited, Namibian Fishing Industries Limited, Tunacor Group Limited, Kuiseb Limited (part of the I&J group), Namibia Water Corporation Limited and Grinaker Namibia (Pty) Ltd.
He was one of the presenters at the internal audit training course for the Ministry of Regional and Local Government and Housing. He was also extensively involved with budgetary training and practical coaching for 7 Local Authorities, sponsored by the CABLE project.
Warren was instrumental in the qualification of BDO as an International Accounting Forum member of Pastel® Software (Pty) Ltd, by qualifying as a Pastel® Certified Installer. He currently supports a wide range of clients on the complete range of Pastel® products. These products include accounting, fixed asset management and payroll solutions. Most recently he has qualified as a Pastel® Certified Trainer. With the move of business to an online (in the cloud) platform, Warren is a Certified Xero Advisor and Xero Migration Advisor and has assisted our firm and clients with their journey into cloud accounting.
Being head of the IT Department and with his vast experience in computer systems, he was instrumental in developing and implementing systems of internal control for several clients in various industries. This included the development, implementation and training of numerous clients on the Pastel accounting, payroll and reporting packages and more recently the Xero Cloud Accounting Platform.
Warren is also head of our Human Resources and Marketing departments within BDO Namibia.
