Income Tax Deadline Moved

We would like to inform you that the deadline for annual income tax returnd for salaried individuals and pensioners has been postponed to 31/07/2016.

Mr. Calle Schlettwein, the Namibian Minister of Finance, announced in National assembly yesterday that the deadline for filling tax returns is to be extended by one month.

This was in response to questions raised by Ms. Jennifer van den Heever (Member of the DTA) regarding the lack of tax forms, which make it impossible to submit returns on time. Schlettwein announced this decision in light of the lack of forms.
