As you might have been informed, the BIPA Act has been legislated and published on 25 August 2016 and on 1 September 2016 the immediate implementation of the a new form CM23 form was implemented in the Government Gazette, which document consists of 10 pages. 

As you might have been informed, the BIPA Act has been legislated and published on 25 August 2016 and on 1 September 2016 the immediate implementation of the a new form CM23 form was implemented in the Government Gazette, which document consists of 10 pages.  A letter was addressed to the Registrar requesting a “grace” period for implementation, but this was rejected.  Legislation now requires full statutory detail/information from clients.  In order for us to provide the correct information we require the following;

Physical business address of the entity – please provide us with any documentary proof i.e. utility bill, rental agreement.

  • Certified copies of ID/Passports of each individual director/member/shareholder – we note that we do not have certified copies of most of the information, therefore please assist us and provide the information as required.
  • Should the shareholder be a legal entity we require a certified registration document/name change, if applicable
  • Shareholding structure until individual shareholding is stated as well as information about Nominee shareholding, if any.

In order for us to provide BIPA with the correct information on time and , we require you to please let us have the above detailed information ASAP.
