Wikus has been with BDO since 2004, and became an audit Partner effective 1 January 2016.
He completed his degree and articles in 2007 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA
Namibia) in 2011. He has been the manager of numerous audits within various industries of
which the fishing and medical industries are the most prominent.
His most recent audits within these industries include: Corvima Group of Companies;
Beluga Group of Companies; Omankete Seafood Processors (Pty) Ltd, Elmar Seafood
Namibia (Pty) Ltd, Tunacor Group of Companies, Erongo Medical Group of Companies and Ongwediva Medipark Group. He was also the auditor in charge of a forensic investigation involving two
fishing companies. Since his employment with BDO he has been involved with audits in the
fishing and medical industries from junior level to partner level.
